Hearty, Homegrown Meals ( Oyster Fried with Water Spinach )

A delicious stir-fried dish combining fresh oysters with crispy water spinach, cooked in a savory, slightly spicy sauce. This dish is popular in Asian cuisine, offering a perfect balance of seafood flavor and crunchy greens.

Ingredients:

  • 200g fresh oysters
  • 200g water spinach (cut)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 red chili (sliced, optional)
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • ½ tsp sugar, ½ tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with water)
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions:

  1. Fry oysters with cornstarch in oil, set aside.
  2. Sauté garlic, chili, then stir-fry water spinach.
  3. Add sauces & seasoning, mix well.
  4. Toss in oysters, stir briefly.
  5. Serve hot with rice!
