Authentic Countryside Recipes ( Fried Mole Crickets with Lemongrass )

A traditional countryside dish, fried mole crickets with lemongrass is crispy, fragrant, and packed with protein.

Ingredients:

  • Mole crickets (cleaned) – 200g
  • Lemongrass (thinly sliced) – 2 stalks
  • Garlic (minced) – 2 cloves
  • Fish sauce – 1 tbsp
  • Salt & pepper – to taste
  • Cooking oil – for frying
  • Chili (optional, for spice)

Instructions:

  1. Clean crickets thoroughly and pat dry.
  2. Marinate with fish sauce, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.
  3. Fry lemongrass & garlic until golden. Remove and set aside.
  4. Deep-fry crickets until crispy.
  5. Toss with lemongrass and serve hot.
