A massive brawl following a Carnival cruise has resulted in two dozen passengers being put on their “Do Not Sail” list.

The incident occurred inside a cruise terminal in Galveston, Texas on Saturday, April 26, according to USA Today. Passengers had just disembarked a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Jubilee when the fight broke out.

In a statement shared with PEOPLE, a spokesperson for Carnival confirmed that 24 passengers were banned from the cruise line as a result of the violent altercation.

“The incident occurred in the debarkation area under the authority of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. The matter was turned over to law enforcement,” the statement reads. “We will not tolerate such behavior, and 24 people have been placed on our Do Not Sail list.”

Footage of the brawl shared by Facebook user Trelle Ray shows a group of rowdy passengers crowded around in what appears to be a baggage claim area. Dozens of suitcases can be seen in the background as several passengers seemingly begin to chase another passenger to a different area.

The crowd breaks through barriers and knocks down signs during the chase before tackling a passenger to the ground. They appear to start punching and kicking the person on the ground as another person rushes to get out of the way.

Security guards then approach the crowd to break up the fight, however the brawl continues even after they arrive. Fellow travelers can be seen watching in shock in the background, while some even film the altercation.

“It went down this morning,” the user captioned their post, followed by a double red exclamation point emoji.

According to itinerary details shared on CruiseMapper, the ship departed from Galveston on Saturday, April 19 and made stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, as well as Roatan Island in Honduras.

The Jubilee returned to Galveston at 8 a.m. local time on Saturday, April 26.

This is not the first time a huge brawl has broken out on a Carnival cruise ship.

In June 2022, a massive fight erupted on the dance floor at a nightclub on the Carnival Magic when it was sailing near the Verrazano Bridge in New York. There were reportedly 40 to 60 people involved in the incident.

The NYPD told PEOPLE at the time that the Coast Guard escorted the cruise ship to Pier 88 and the ship “disembarked passengers without further incident.”
